Hi, I’m April Suwichai, originally from Thailand, a beautiful country in Southeast Asia, though I now spend most of my time in Slovenia. Every artwork you see in this shop is created by me. I’m a self-taught artist who discovered a love for drawing at a young age, beginning with sketches of animals and people when I was just fifteen. Since then, I’ve been fascinated by studying anatomy, shading, and forms to improve my work.

After pursuing various careers, I rekindled my passion for art during the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing became my escape and a way to express my deepest emotions. I work primarily with pencil as a traditional artist, and I’ve been drawing for almost 20 years. Over the years, I’ve created portraits of people and pets, and contributed illustrations to books and magazines.

More recently, I’ve focused on commissioned portraits drawn from photos. Whether it’s a family member, a beloved pet, or even a celebrity, I can transform a photo into a beautifully detailed portrait.
